SOS BOOK Chapter 67: Strategy #3. Cultivate a high vibe.

CHOOSE THOUGHTS WITH HIGHER VIBRATION.

Our general vibe reflects how we really feel in that moment. It reflects the level of energetic vibration of all our thoughts at that time. The higher this vibe, the better we feel, and the more of our dreams we can manifest! Feeling a high vibe indicates we are on track. As discussed in the last chapter, this assessment of our vibe can be corrupted. And it's not as comprehensive as a heart-based assessment, but it is very fast! So, it can help us make many decisions in daily life. We simply choose the thoughts or actions with the highest vibration! This is a useful strategy for personal success. Below we provide some different techniques for keeping your vibe high.

REVIEW YOUR VIBE TO ASSESS PROGRESS.

We should regularly review our overall progress in life. This could be daily, weekly or monthly. This helps us determine whether we are aligned with our goals. We assess whether our progress & path feels right. We can then modify our life direction by a little, or even a lot! If we continue to feel bad, then we are considerably out of alignment with our intended path.

…Have you scheduled some time to review your progress in life?

Being out of alignment with our goal is sometimes termed ‘resistance’. We will see this resistance reflected through our general life. We won’t feel happy, supported or inwardly at peace. By assessing our level of resistance, we can also tell if we are on track!

RANDOM SPOT CHECKS OF OUR VIBE ARE USEFUL.

Another useful technique is to do spot checks of our vibe. We could do this, for example, while we are resting on our travels, or waiting for the next task to begin. Try asking yourself these questions:

1. Do I really feel good about what I am doing?

2. Is this genuinely where I want to be?

3. Will this interaction contribute in some positive way? Our vibe gives us an instant readout to these questions. Especially when we don't have time for a deeper meditative contemplation.

…Do you ask yourself these questions during the day?

EMOTIONS ARE UNDERVALUED AS A GUIDE.

We have previously explained that what we feel at an emotional level is valuable. Emotions are often the first indicator of whether something is right for us. They provide a quick estimation. This is not as comprehensive as deep contemplation, nor as powerful as a meditative insight. But emotions are always available and are very fast! But the value of emotions can still be hard to grasp, especially for some hardheaded businesspeople! It’s not what they usually accept or believe. Being ‘too emotional’ or ‘too sensitive’ is often thought of as a hindrance to business success. That's because it's equated to being illogical, very reactive and even hysterical.

DON’T LET YOUR EMOTIONS LEAD YOU ASTRAY.

It is possible to become overwhelmed by emotions and be led astray. This is the art of media advertising and any propaganda technique. But that’s not what we are referring to here. Instead, we encourage the careful and deliberate use of emotions as a useful source of feedback. Using our emotions in this balanced way for guidance and assessment is a valuable skill and a good strategy.

…Are you getting better at using your emotions for guidance?

EMOTIONS WORK WELL WITH OTHER STRATEGIES.

We have previously discussed the strategy of deliberate manifestation. We can combine this manifestation process with emotional guidance, to improve our decision making. Our feelings of lasting happiness and joy will help guide us on our path. When we feel positive emotions, it confirms we are on the right path! Remaining positive and a high vibe also help us through doubt and challenges. Experiencing joy and enjoyment along the way is integral to personal transformation. So, tuning into our emotions and keeping them high helps sustain us on our inner journey.

…What are your emotions telling you about your life direction?

AVOID UNNECESSARY NEGATIVE ENCOUNTERS.

Companionship, sensuality and creativity are integral to a rewarding life. We should make time for fun and time-out to rejuvenate ourselves. If we feel an experience will not be beneficial, we should avoid that encounter. We can anticipate a negative situation because even thinking about it generates negative emotions. Negative emotions include pride, anger, jealousy and fear. Even lower in vibe is guilt and shame!

…Are you able to anticipate future situations that will be unhelpful?

It is counterproductive to add more negative emotions or keep suppressing them. Instead, residual or trapped emotions need to be processed and released! We can focus on processing the emotions & clearing them. This will help heal the core issue. More information on emotional processing will be presented later.

AVOID TRIVIAL ACTIVITIES & HABITS.

Similarly, if we feel an encounter will be trivial or without creative benefit, then we should avoid that too. An example would be a gossip and bitch session, or a drinking and brag session. These unhelpful activities are old, conditioned ways of living. Instead, we could politely send our apologies and actively pursue our own true path. We could choose uplifting activities that bring joy, fulfillment and inner peace. To make these decisions we simply exert our executive control. Our choices are our responsibility. We are indeed a sovereign and independent being. We have the free will to choose!

…Are you making choices about your life consciously and deliberately?

COMMIT TO YOUR OWN CREATIVE PROCESS.

Few will commit to a destiny that they deliberately craft for themselves. Most don’t believe it’s even possible. Many do not trust themselves or know what they really want. Some won't even take responsibility for what they have already created. Sadly, this only leaves a few people who are prepared to commit to their quest. But those few are very precious. The practicalities of personal transformation will require time and considerable practice. The journey is always unique, with our own specific challenges to overcome. The sooner we start our life quest the better! We present another strategy for success in the next chapter.
