SOS BOOK Chapter 16: Speeding up your progress.

ACCEPT YOURSELF THEN RAISE YOUR VIBE.

How do we further speed up our progress? We utilize forgiveness & gratitude to accelerate our inner journey. We don't blame ourselves or others. We avoid judgement or control. Instead, we just align with the positive vibe of what we really want. That includes pursuing our true inner needs as well. Being loving, forgiving, grateful and at peace with ourselves is the master key!

…Can you see the benefit in forgiving and being grateful?

LOOK FOR SYNCHRONICITY IN EVERY ENCOUNTER.

We maintain a positive expectation in all that we do. This speeds up the process. With practice, this becomes inherent to our way of life. We expect a beneficial result, even in some small way, from every personal interaction! Such an encounter will give us a nudge in the right direction. Further investigation of this will then lead us forward on our path. That’s how we get closer to something we really want to understand or accomplish.

…Can you see the power of being positive?

TUNE-IN FOR MORE GUIDANCE FROM WITHIN.

We can also use our intuition and inner knowing for better discernment. This inner guidance will improve our decision making. This is our heart-based guidance. It’s our intuitive inner knowing. We listen for that quiet ‘inner voice’ and welcome any deep insights that surface. This deep ‘knowing’ sometimes presents as an inner nudge. This inner guidance helps us overcome life’s challenges and to stay on track.

These seven steps are how we overcome hurdles on our path. That's the overview.

...Are you ready to start these seven steps?

ACCESS INTUITIVE KNOWING DURING QUIET TIME.

To start this whole inner process, we simply schedule some daily ‘quiet time’ or ‘time-out’. Do this just for yourself. It's your personal time-out. Then try relaxing your whole body, and then quieting your mind. Observe the natural rise & fall of your breath.

Try observing your thoughts without attaching to them or creating a narrative. This style of mindfulness might take some practice, but it's worth it! Start this daily ‘time-out’ routine as soon as you can. It can take up to 6-8 weeks to get results. But usually, the results start more quickly. Even spending 5-10 minutes daily in this way will be beneficial. But try to build this into 15-minute sessions, or even more when you can.

New insights will surface during this practice of quiet contemplation, mindfulness or simple meditation. Allow any intuitive ‘knowing’ or inspiration to rise into your awareness. But don't have any fixed expectations or try to control the process. Remember, no pressure or expectation! That inhibits the process.

BE PATIENT AND KIND TO YOURSELF.

Welcome any intuitive feelings or heart-felt inner knowing. Even if they are minor. These messages can be very subtle and are never demanding. So, you really have to quieten your mind and tune in! Be patient, sensitive and accept yourself. That really helps!

A feeling of lasting happiness & joy confirms that you are on track. The right path in life is one that allows us to be at peace with ourselves. It’s satisfying, rewarding and just feels right! On this path there will be increasing contentment & fulfillment. This positive feedback provides additional reinforcement that we are on our life quest!

…Can you see the benefit of following your joy?

LET YOUR INNER NATURE GUIDE YOU.

The right path will feel natural & intuitive. It will feel spontaneous and seemingly flow without effort. The technique for this inner journey is surprisingly simple. We have already given you a brief outline of what's required. Just relax and invite your inner knowing to guide you.

Simply follow your inner guidance & heart-based knowing. Let your inner nature guide you! You can self-correct when you notice any resistance. Simply check for any loss of joy, or inner peace. Then make the correction to stay in alignment. That's how we stay on track!

…Will you trust your inner nature to guide you?

OUR EGO WILL RESIST THE PROCESS.

The process is simple, but the journey is not always easy. There are likely to be some obstacles or challenges ahead! The biggest issue is our ego! Our ego tends to resist this inner transformation. We have to overcome old habits, fixed beliefs, false expectations and more. They will produce a conflict with our Ego-mind.

But we will learn to recognize and overcome our ego. We can prevail! This challenge can also be fun. It won't be boring, and this process will often test us!

INNER GROWTH TAKES COMMITMENT & COURAGE.

The journey of personal self-development will require commitment. Overcoming our ego and confronting strong emotions takes courage & determination. But rest assured, this path will bring lasting happiness & joy. It's the only sustainable way! This path improves our overall health & wellbeing. It will also promote our creative expression and full potential.

This book is about supporting you, the reader, on your personal journey of self-development. It explains the process of inner transformation. It offers useful strategies & practical techniques. This assistance can help with your inner journey and life quest.

…Where could this inner journey lead you?

AN INNER PATH CAN LEAD TO SELF-MASTERY.

The aim of inner growth is to increase our wellbeing & joy. It will also lessen or stop our personal suffering. We can also uncover our deep inner needs and express these in our life. This adds even more joy and meaning to our daily life.

We progressively align with our true life-purpose. When we become aligned with our true path, this process just seems so natural. This is because it is already part of our true nature. It mostly occurs spontaneously and requires little physical effort or resources. It just powers itself and feels right! But it does require our constant awareness or attention!

As our practice becomes more advanced, this inner journey can lead to self-mastery and personal transformation. Some will proceed to higher levels of realization, and even to enlightenment.

…Are you ready to align with your true life-purpose?
