OUR PAST FAILINGS DON’T MATTER.

Our past failings should be of no real consequence, except to make us more determined to find a new way! The more committed we are to change, the better. So, our past behavior can help us prepare, no matter what we have done.


We can also utilize our general dissatisfaction or a life crisis to help motivate us. Being at a low point in some aspect of our lives could inspire us to completely change direction. From a low point, the risks don't seem as bad. We have less to lose! The more difficult our lives have been, the more we will appreciate the upcoming positive benefits.

BY IMPROVING OURSELVES, WE HELP THE WORLD.

Many people recognize the widespread suffering that exists in the world. By improving the direction of our personal lives, we benefit the world as well. Knowing that we are also helping the collective can provide extra motivation.

Once we have committed to personal development, we should not waste precious time! But how do we optimize our effort? Our lives usually seem so busy. How can we find time to work on our personal growth?


WE WASTE SO MUCH TIME, EFFORT & ENERGY.

It's surprising how much time we actually waste. Too often, we dwell or ruminate on our negative thoughts. What a huge waste of time & energy!

Then we waste time on meaningless distractions & diversions. These include tv programs such as game shows, reality programs, soap operas & even computer gaming.


We are obsessed with our mobile phones and social media posts! What a waste of time that can be. We can become trapped in this materialistic trance! Plus, when we do interact with real people, too often we engage in idle gossip or social chatter. And we lower our vibe & our energy further with negative discourse.

RE-THINK YOUR LIFE’S PRIORITIES!

Aim to prioritize activities which will make a positive impact on your life. Choose activities which benefit your development & wellbeing long term. More free time & energy can open up by changing your mindset! But just wishing or hoping for such a change has almost no chance of success. Instead, we must be proactive and initiate the change we need! Be prepared to try a new approach and allow for some mistakes.


Have trust and faith in your innate ability & inner guidance. With courage and regular practice, you will gradually improve. Increase your awareness of all you sense, feel & do. Utilize your intuition. Be open and receptive to synchronistic opportunities. All this is a good starting point!

As we open up more free time, we can allow ourselves more fun as well. We simply follow our joy. Following our passion in life leads to even more joy. Finding our passion gives us a clue to our life purpose as well. With meaning & purpose in our life, we build more satisfaction & fulfillment.


We can start simply by raising our overall awareness and sensitivity to the world. Increased awareness brings a new appreciation of life. We become more aware of what’s around us, as well as what’s within!


BEGIN TO SEE THE BEAUTY IN EVERYTHING.

We begin to see the beauty in everything. We become more tolerant, compassionate & grateful. Giving our abilities as a service to others builds a lasting happiness.
