GLOBAL LEADERS HAVE CONFLICTING PRIORITIES.
Our world is in chaos! Most agree it’s a global crisis. It’s much like a personal crisis, but on a much larger scale.
How do we usually respond on a global level? We usually look outwardly to our political & community leaders for a solution. This is much like seeking external help in a personal crisis. We have been socially conditioned to give others authority to act on our behalf. Unfortunately, their priorities can be very different to ours!

PEACE & HARMONY ISN’T A POLITICAL PRIORITY.
Our politicians & community leaders promote strategies that benefit themselves. Staying in control is the primary motivation for most authorities! They mainly want to stay in power & get re-elected! Our personal & global needs are secondary to theirs.
Leaders must also accommodate the needs of their financial backers or political party. They exert control through distributing our tax money and imposing new regulations. However, these regulations further limit our individual rights and our personal freedom! They give the illusion of doing something proactive, but this further increases the cost & complexity of our lives.
POLITICIANS USE A CRISIS TO JUSTIFY CONTROL.
Global & community crises are emotionally charged issues. They also affect many people. The political leaders realize these concerns must be quickly ‘cooled’. Stability & control must be restored.
First we are given the opportunity to respond in some token form. This applies to disasters and world problems. Collecting donations to help in a crisis is often the first strategy. This gives us a temporary feeling of relief. This is similar to us using alcohol, coffee & nicotine to help us cope in our personal lives. It's a temporary comfort.
Politicians can also use a crisis to enact restrictive legislation, taxation or spending. That cost might not be accepted at other times. A crisis is when we are most receptive and most vulnerable!
WHAT A DYSFUNCTIONAL SYSTEM WE LIVE IN!
These political strategies might not be the best long-term solutions, but they strengthen leadership positions. Such solutions aim to avoid community revolt and increase control. Meanwhile major donors and the party faithful must also be appeased.
The only recourse we are offered is to blame those we are told are responsible. So, scapegoats are provided! If this is insufficient, we can also change which leader or political party we vote for.
But then the cycle just repeats itself with a new leader or party! We are kept preoccupied with petty-politics and that game of ‘musical chairs’. This process also generates more division and antagonism.
WE DON’T REALISE HOW WE ARE CONTROLLED!
Our current system of governance is usually one of subtle control and enslavement. We choose a political ideology to engage with. We contribute our votes, our taxes and even our charitable donations! But the basic structure & principles always stay the same. We are conditioned to expect very little to change!

POLITICAL SOLUTIONS ARE RESTRICTIVE.
The solutions offered by our leaders are usually an attempt to control & sanitize the situation. But these are not optimal or permanent solutions.
The offered solutions advance someone else’s agenda. This current system creates the illusion of progress but maintains the status quo! Our political, corporate & religious leaders seem to be masters at this art of manipulation.
WE GIVE AWAY AUTONOMY & RESPONSIBILITY.
We need to take back our individual sovereignty. Instead of letting others become our master, we need to personally master ourselves. We should become responsible for our every thought, decision and action.
We then act as an individual and autonomous being. We become responsible for our actions and also our patterns of thought. That raises our energetic vibe.

LIBERATION WILL OCCUR ONE PERSON AT A TIME.
Global liberation can only come through taking personal responsibility. Each person then contributes their part to the collective. We exert a collective influence by raising our individual level of consciousness. From a global perspective, the need for this higher awareness has never been greater.
This SOS book is dedicated to explaining and supporting this individual inner process. We start by raising our consciousness and healing ourselves. This is how we really contribute to the liberation of our planet. This is how we heal our world!
