ILLUSIONARY STATES DEMAND OUR ATTENTION.
Remember, higher awareness never demands our attention. Instead, it just constantly runs in the background. So, we must actively invite this higher awareness in! We must consciously & deliberately activate this state. Higher awareness is the opposite of the illusory or fantasy states. Illusory states strongly demand and hold our attention.
The hypnotic state of materialism most strongly demands our attention. We are constantly bombarded by it everywhere we look. The self-obsessed egoic state of a prima donna is also very addictive. These fantasy states feel incredibly real when we are deeply engrossed in them. But they are really just cleverly crafted illusions. In the end, objective truth and true reality is only available through higher awareness!
RECOGNISE & CHOOSE HIGHER AWARENESS.
Higher awareness is not as dramatic or alluring compared to the illusory states. Because of this, higher awareness is more difficult to recognise, access & maintain.
So how do we know we are in this present-moment awareness? The answer is that higher awareness deeply satisfies & feels ‘right’. This is because it’s our natural state of being. It feels comfortable, like we are at home.
ACHIEVE MORE BALANCE, COMPASSION & WISDOM.
Higher awareness might not seem as exciting as the illusory states, but we do feel content and at peace! There are no extreme highs & lows unless we choose to explore these. There are no major dramatic reactions or stories from our Ego mind. Higher awareness is more stable, neutral & balanced. It promotes a loving & wise way of life.
