SOS BOOK Chapter 79: Strategy #15. Practise productivity.

PRODUCTIVITY TAKES PRACTICE & OBJECTIVITY.

We need action to produce results and achieve success. An executive CEO style of action can work well. Ideally our decisions should be clear, simple and well thought out. Wmust make these decisions consciously and deliberately. That is how we start to control the wondrous supercomputer in our brain.

The next step is to practise and hone our executive skills. Our initial practice won’t be perfect every time, but we aim to increase our productivity. We do this by watching both our thinking process and the results. We try to do this objectively as an impartial or neutral observer.

…Are you comfortable with making new decisions including some mistakes?

FINE-TUNE YOUR LIFE DIRECTION.

By attempting a variety of approaches, we can better select what we really want. We can provide our approval or disapproval. We then redirect our course a little or a lot. This adjustment is ongoing! We are thus taking control by fine tuning our new direction. We generate action and build momentum. We are producing the results on which we base our next direction. We are in charge of the process and overseeing the results. We are performing our CEO role as we are meant to. With each adjustment we progressively exert finer control.

…Are you regularly adjusting your course, so you stay on track?

DELEGATE SOME TASKS TO THE SUBCONSCIOUS.

Soon we will ride a wave of productivity. The positive patterns start to become a habit. Then, we can delegate some of the more routine control to our automatic subconscious mind. We must consciously choose when we feel this is safe and appropriate. Then we just keep an occasional eye on this. So, we delegate consciously and are mindful of the consequences.

…What types of decisions are safe to delegate to your subconscious?

This mindful delegation allows the CEO more time to create, plan and lead. By delegating, the CEO has more capacity to contemplate new ideas, alternative approaches & future dreams. It also allows us more time to savor the sensual and aesthetic aspects of our life. This further adds to the quality of our overall life. It increases our general satisfaction and fulfillment.

CONTEMPLATION & MEDITATION WILL GUIDE US.

Adding a short daily session of quiet contemplation helps enhance this delegation process. It helps us achieve the correct mental state and insights we need. Maintaining the system and directing future change becomes easier and easier.

We learn to incorporate this calm but alert meditative mindset into our daily life. The benefits of meditation extend beyond the end of the session. The clarity and joy spills over into all our life activities. Our entire day can incorporate the benefits. It all becomes so natural and second nature, or more correctly our true nature. This is how we are meant to operate! We are tuned in and switched on.

OUR LIFE QUALITY IMPROVES WITH PRACTICE.

In summary, increased productivity is key to raising our capacity. Hands on management as the CEO produces huge productivity gains. This leaves time for other quality pursuits. Our daily meditation practice promotes a calm but highly alert mindset. This then permeates throughout the day.

…Have you started to notice the wider benefits of meditation in your life?

OUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIMICS THE CEO’S EXAMPLE.

Our positive leadership as CEO provides a clear example for our subconscious to follow. Then our subconscious mind automatically mimics and models the CEO’s good example. The subconscious operates from a higher level of awareness and objectivity. This protects the subconscious from an overreaching ego.

Once this pattern is set, our biological supercomputer will generally work for us in our favor. It will follow our good example, without us needing to micromanage it. This unlocks enormous creative output and untapped capacity.

We just need to provide clear leadership while we sort out the teething problems. Once the tone is set, only occasional intervention is needed. But we must always be wary that the ego can try to reestablish undue influence.

IDENTIFY YOUR WEAK SPOTS & TUNE YOUR MIND.

How can we further upgrade our functioning? How can we further tweak our performance and productivity?

An effective business CEO can fine tune all the divisions and levels of a company, right down to individual employees. Our brain and mind can similarly be thought of as a corporate structure. We too can find our weak spots and tune our mind for optimal effectiveness and output. In this way, we can unleash this hidden source of capacity and potential.

…Are you excited to fine-tune your mind and tap into your full potential?

EVEN CEOS NEED OUTSIDE GUIDANCE & SUPPORT.

But even the best CEOs have their limits. A CEO might call in the help of efficiency experts or corporate analysts. These experts are masters at analyzing the efficiency of a corporation and identifying areas of weakness. They might do this through time and motion studies, data analysis or other technical testing.

The experts might identify areas of weakness or mismanagement. Tackling these can be very therapeutic for a corporation. Entrenched patterns of inappropriate decision making can be eliminated. These small tweaks can have a significant flow-on effect. In self-development, the process of mind-training is mainly an individual exercise. But we can request help or advice from experts or masters.

…Are you open to further input and advice from other experts?

MEDITATION SUPPORTS OUR DECISION MAKING.

The process of mind training starts with daily quiet contemplation or meditation practice. We are then better able to tune in to the incoming messages. This improves our decision making. A short daily meditation session is like putting the corporate analysts through the structure of an ailing business. We can more easily see the inadequacies of our thoughts, biases or habits. Through meditation we maintain a high level of awareness and mindfulness.

For even higher-level guidance, we can then tune into our higher self and beyond. We can tap into the extended mind for additional guidance. The extended mind is like an entire team of experts at your disposal.

…Can you see how meditation helps you tap into additional guidance?

PASSION SUPERCHARGES OUR PRODUCTIVITY.

Our productivity increases when we are highly motivated to succeed. This is true for personal development as well. The best source of motivation is our ongoing passion and purpose in life. These inner drives are directly aligned with our deep inner needs. They are a powerful motivating force!

…Have you meditated on your passion and purpose in life?

CONNECT TO THE EXTENDED LEVELS OF MIND.

But how do we find our purpose in life? What life path will give us real meaning? The answer is found by connecting to the deepest part of our mind. This is called our ‘higher self’. Our higher self then connects directly to the ‘extended mind’. This web of information can be accessed through our subconscious. Potentially with training and practice, we could connect even further to the ‘universal mind’. This is what some spiritual masters can achieve! The ‘universal mind’ is the repository of all information, knowledge & wisdom.

DOWNLOAD YOUR INSPIRATIONS & INSIGHT!

But how is this insight then downloaded? Insights and profound understanding are received as a download of ‘knowing’. The message will be highly relevant to us personally in our current life situation. The message is a condensed ‘package’ of data which needs to be decompressed. Only then can its contents be extracted and accessed.

It is quite remarkable how our mind can connect to this greater realm of knowing. But we can only utilize these valuable insights if our mind is calm and finely tuned. Otherwise, we may not be able to tap into this extended web of resources. This is another reason why daily contemplation and meditation is so important.

WE ARE ONE NODE OF A UNIVERSAL NETWORK.

In computer terminology, our biological supercomputer can act as a node to access a huge web of other nodes. These nodes include all other human supercomputers, but it doesn’t stop there. We are part of a network which is like the internet of all consciousness and all possibilities!

Daily quiet time and contemplation helps to start a connection with other local nodes. Contemplation promotes harmony and cooperation between these nearby nodes. This helps us to better relate and interact with those around us.

…Does increased harmony and collaboration with other people sound good?

MIND TRAINING IMPROVES INNER CONNECTION.

Deeper contemplation further harmonizes our mind with the wider network. This stronger connection enables even bigger downloads of insight to occur. Through quiet contemplation we learn to pose the right questions in the right way.

Meditation helps us to remain open to intuition and insight. We invite and welcome this higher input. But we must also take action in the real world. So, we look for synchronistic opportunities that will further support us.

…Will you train yourself to improve connection to the wider network?

NEW POSSIBILITIES UNLOCK OUR POTENTIAL.

In summary, accessing this extended network opens a realm of untapped possibilities. It further unlocks our hidden potential as individuals. Connecting to these extended resources is an essential part of our inner transformation. It will accelerate our success in personal growth.

Remember, it’s easy for success to be corrupted by the ego. So, the way we handle our success is important. What is the right attitude to success in personal growth? What is the role of gratitude? We discuss this in the next chapter.
