Filed under Womens InterestMay 2You can say that eyes are the window of the soul. However, lips are the central element of the face’s lower third section. Enhancement of the lips can make a person look naturally young, attractive, healthy, and sexy.
Mouth and lips can suffer from several problems as they are exposed and sensitive parts of the body, with their functions to breathe, eat and drink. Cold sores can damage your lips so it’s important to take a good care of them.
Since the old era, women applied covering agents on the lips. More recently, they use lipstick to enhance the looks of this compelling and beautiful unit. Nowadays lip enhancement is well-received and on a good side. Treatment alternatives today result excellently and satisfy most physicians and patients. The volumetric lip enhancement operation continues to improve its safety, and in return, more and more patients seek for those elusively beautiful lips.
Lipstick and Lip Liners - Shaping the Lips
There are many types of lipstick produced so far. Matte lipstick is heavier in wax and pigment, lighter in moisturizers, and more textured. Glosses have low color and high shine. Cream lipstick is in the middle between the two types mentioned above. It is a balance of shine and texture.
The best way to control lipstick application is using a square-tipped brush with short and firm bristles.
• Moisturize your lips every time ahead of applying the lipstick. Getting the perfect pout is not possible without moisturizing.
• To give yourself an even lip shape, draw an outline with your lip pencil.
• If you feel like they are too full, use the trick for lining your lips in the way to reduce them. While lining your lips, line them closely inside the actual line. Fill your lips with the liner prior to applying the color to hold the shape. You will see a big difference using this little tip.
• Outline your lips with a lip pencil first in order to minimize vertical cracks in your lips.
• To make complete lipstick coverage and minimize fine lines, smile while applying the color and apply the lipstick vertically.
• Fill in your lips using the same pencil to create strong base for lipstick.
• Apply your lipstick.
• Cover with a crystal clear or colorful lip gloss. It’s always good to dust lips lightly with transparent powder to make the color stay, in case you don’t use gloss or sealant.
Choosing the Right Color
Factors that must be considered while choosing the right lipstick color are skin color, hair color and lips shape.
1. If you have light skin and blonde hair: use shades of orange, pink, and purple.
2. If you have dark skin and dark hair: use shades of red, violet.
3. If you have light skin and dark hair: use shades of brown and beige.
4. If you have red hair: use coral-red, brown and bronze colors.• For Full Lips
Don’t use lip liner, but if you do, soften the edge with finger. Lip color that is too glossy or shiny doesn’t suit you. Use deeper colors to make your lips look smaller.
• For Thin Lips
To make your lips look fuller, draw slightly beyond the lip with a neutral-colored lip pencil before applying lipstick. Don’t wear lipstick of a very dark shade. It makes lips look thinner.
• Need Contrast or Impact?
To make contrast or impact, mix the lipstick or gloss with lighter or darker shade. Blending and mixing two lipstick shades or two glosses are not against the rule. Blend a Frost or Shimmer in to make it look pearlier. Or put in a chocolate brown to deepen any other shades. By adding a clear or glamorous colorful lip gloss on top of any color, you will completely change the look.
• Lip Gloss
Lip-gloss can be used if you want a glowing look. However, women with very full lips should use lip-gloss in a small amount. You can apply lip gloss or lip shine over lipstick or alone. Don’t forget that gloss would accent your lips and therefore make them look fuller.
Mixing your favorite Dazzle Dust with your lip gloss will create a completely new and unique shade.

Born in Portsmouth, Virginia to a middle-class family, Perry Edwin Ellis is one of the most successful fashion designers in today’s modern age. He was born on March 3, 1940 and was raised comfortably by his family with the support of their own fuel company. He studied in Williamsburg, Virginia taking up a degree in Business Administration, which he later used in managing his own fashion business.
Perry Ellis’ interest for fashion first came out while he was running his own department store retailing in Virginia. He established that firm to gain experience in the world of fashion simply as a merchandiser and buyer.
In his search for the ultimate experience, he joined the sportswear company owned by John Meyer in New York. The Vera Companies approached him in the 1970s for one purpose – to make designs for the Vera itself. It was only in 1976 when Perry Ellis decided to create his own line of women’s sportswear he called the Portfolio.
Since the introduction of the Portfolio, critics and consumers of fashion products praised Perry Ellis as one of the most outstanding designers of sportswear. Particularly the women love him for one reason – Ellis creates his own designs, each boasting a clean cut casual style. He established his own fashion house with the help of The Vera Companies, and named it Perry Ellis International. His showroom was first opened on Seventh Avenue in New York City.
Months after the release of Ellis’ casual styled sportswear, he came up with a menswear collection which was introduced successfully in the world market. Critics considered this product line as modern classic in appearance and style. This collection was followed by other successful launches; now featuring shoes, furs, accessories, and fragrances.
Perry Ellis International continued to expand throughout the 1980s. A number of labels were then released, including the Perry Ellis Collection and the Perry Ellis Portfolio. In 1984, the company formed a cooperation with Levi Strauss. The Portfolio line was revised one year after, and in 1986 the company saw a rise of about $250 million in their product revenues.
The House of Perry Ellis was transferred to a new management headed by Robert L. McDonald, Ellis’ close friend, in 1986 after Perry’s unexpected death. Marc Jacobs then took the role of Perry Ellis as a fashion designer for the company, who at that time was a fresh graduate. Jacobs started his own labels just in 1993, and it was him who became the head of the House of Louis Vuitton in Paris.
Perry Ellis International has undergone several other changes in the company management. Manhattan Industries was traded to a licensee of Perry Ellis, the Salant. It was from them where a Miami based textile company acquired the Ellis House in 1999. The corporation also acquired several other companies, including the Original Penguin and the Ping collection of the golf brand, both acquired early in the year 2003.
Today, the House of Perry Ellis is continually producing all the fashion products it is known for. Massive expansions are expected to occur with more and more consumers becoming interested to Perry Ellis’ great collections.

It’s quite important that you drink enough water during your pregnancy and postpartum period. This will help ensure that your pregnancy is a healthy one. Water does a few things for you. It helps your kidney and liver functions (and those of your baby also), and it also flushes waste from your system cells. Furthermore, during these nine months, you need a lot of water to help with your body’s expansion. On top of all of that, our blood volume will increase quite a bit. Because of this, without enough water, you could experience pre-term labor, miscarriage, constipation, or an increase in fatigue. And finally, without enough water, milk production and flow will be hindered.
You probably already have heard that you need plenty of water when pregnant. However, even though they know it, most women still don’t get enough water. Some just don’t like drinking it, while others argue that they don’t get thirsty enough. And some women actually try drinking other “water-based beverages, not knowing that they actually cause further dehydration.
Here are some important facts every pregnant woman should know. First, a pregnant woman needs between eight and twelve 8-ounce glasses of water a day. She should drink even more if the weather is hot or if she’s been exercising.
Also, don’t always use thirst as an indicator of whether or not you’re drinking enough water. Everybody doesn’t always feel thirsty when they need some more water. In fact, a lot of times, we don’t experience thirst until dehydration has already begun. It’s better to dehydrate ahead of time.
Remember not to try to substitute sodas or other caffeinated beverages for water. These will actually cause your body to dehydrate faster. Therefore, they do not and should not be counted as part of your daily fluid intake. The less you drink of these while pregnant, the better. At most, drink them only a couple times a day.
Increasing your water consumption will actually help with your feelings of tiredness. So the next time you feel a bout of fatigue coming on, try drinking more water. You’ll probably feel a remarkable improvement.
Here are some suggestions for getting enough water. First, fill a pitcher with the amount of water (or other healthy beverage) you want to drink the next day. Then throughout the day, keep that pitcher with you, so that you’re constantly reminded to drink up. You might even consider setting an alarm to remind you to drink a glass and maybe even do a few stretches.
Also, if you just drink something other than water, make it a healthy drink that has no caffeine and very little sugar. A good choice for pregnant women is something called Glow Mama. This is a natural juice-based drink that also has fiber, calcium, folic acid, iron, and several helpful vitamins. Glow Mama is also has fiber and is good for you, since it’s made from real kiwi juice. Plus it only has 70 calories a bottle.
There are other healthier drinks available too. Just remember that much of your hydration should always come from plain ol’ water.
