Self Improvement The Ultimate Quest for A Better You

The popularity of the game of golf has skyrocketed since the early nineteen nineties in the United States. There are a multitude of reasons for this phenomenon. Perhaps the main reason may be the aging of the baby boomers. However, another factor to not overlook is the social benefit that the sport offers.

The physical fitness craze took over the country in the last several decades. All of the health conscious athletes looked for different ways to hang on to their competitive nature. Some migrated to jogging; others went after bicycling; still others found the answer in a different physical activity.

But the masses migrated to golf. It is a sport that has held up over the test of time. As the body grows older limitations on what it can do are placed upon it. One of the activities that the body is still allowed to do as it grows older is swing a golf club. All shapes and sizes as well as genders and races can enjoy the competitiveness of the game well into old age. That is due in part to the gentle demands that are put on the body as the sport is played.

It seems that only a very few can continue playing touch or tackle football into their twenties and thirties. The same can be said about baseball, softball, and basketball. Even runners tend to go by the wayside because of the demands that are placed on their knees, joints, hip and back. But the game of golf tends to attract anyone that enjoys competing and enjoying nature at its finest.

Not to be ignored in this attraction to golf are the social advantages. How many times have you heard about business deals being made on the golf course? The contacts that can be made during a friendly round of golf are limitless. That’s not to mention the wagering between friends and the camaraderie created between competitors.

Many of my adult friendships have been initiated and then established on the golf course. Not only does that include business contacts, but it takes into account golf buddies that enjoy taking trips around the country to the various golf resorts. The bond that is created encompasses trust, loyalty, laughter, and integrity. Those are some of the basic qualities of life that are memorable, worthwhile, and everlasting.

So, to deny the game of golf its true place in American society would almost be sacrilegious. It is one of the last pure professional sports that is left. There are no steroids. There are no referees. The game is mainly policed by each golfer. A player tees it up and lets his or her ability speak for itself on any given day. There are no guarantees. There is no secret to getting the ball in the hole.

The only thing that is assured is that it is called the “gentleman’s game” for a reason. That is because it is to be played with manners, etiquette, and respect for your playing partner. Is there any wonder why it has grown in popularity?

Have you ever stopped to think what it is about golf that you like so much?

Some people would say that it allows them to enjoy a form of exercise that is not quite so strenuous as running or jogging on the treadmill or pedaling on the exercise bike. Others would say that they like the challenge that the sport presents. A few more might admit that it is an activity that allows for their social skills to emerge. If enough people are queried the answers could very well be numerous.

As for me, it is “the guys.” You might wonder why an answer like that would roll out of my mind. But for me, it’s true … “The guys.”

The game itself is wonderful. The challenges that it presents are endless. The demands of a long straight drive are ever-present. In golfing terms that could be construed as another tee shot hit in the short grass. The approach shot finding its mark on the green … or as golfers put it, another green in regulation. The putting stroke, the chip shot, the bunker shot, the pitch-and-run are all shots that require a great deal of practice and skill in their own way.

The decisions of the game and how it plays with the golfers’ mind are also a big part of the game. When a player has to shape a shot the decisions that come along with that are numerous. Does the shot call for moving the ball with a slight fade or a power draw? Should the ball get up in a hurry to clear a cluster of trees or should the shot be played low to stay under the limbs? Should the player go around a hazard or take a greater chance by trying to carry the ball over the danger? If the wind is blowing into the golfers face should the player swing an extra club or two or play the shot lower so that the ball cuts through the breeze?

The strategies are endless. The skill levels are numerous. The challenges are mind-boggling and unique. The vacation destinations are abundant. The various events are well-documented. Even the body types and gender specifications are varied.

So what makes the game so popular? To reiterate … it’s “the guys.”

To me there is nothing like having the regular group of guys on a Saturday or Sunday morning or for that matter a Wednesday afternoon or a Friday lunch. I’ve been lucky enough to have grown up in a golfing environment. Hanging around the pro shop is unique in its own way. Grabbing a bite to eat in the snack bar is significant in its own manner. Both are equally as important as jumping into a cart with a playing partner. Those places are where the stories are told, the jokes are thrown around, and the business deals are made.

From those experiences the games begin. The opportunity to bet and be paired with players of varying skill levels is fun! The challenge of the course is one thing, but saving the tail of a playing partner is what it’s all about. Seeing a partner drain a thirty-footer when the chips are on the line or a competitor missing a three-foot putt in a similar situation are what make the game what it is. To be able to share the camaraderie on the course and take it to dinner afterwards or on vacation in the off-season or to a sponsored event away from the home venue is what the game of golf is all about. The friendships that are established and taken to other life experiences to me is what makes the game of golf so special.

You can have the beauty of the various golf courses. You can have the challenge of the different shots. You can have the action of the different bets. But if you don’t have “the guys” to share all of that with then the glass is half-empty.

There are lots of folks who really enjoy the excitement and mental titillation of playing skill slots, but are reluctant to spend the money and take the time to visit a real Casino. In the last few years some enterprising companies have discovered a niche that allows people to play slots at home with the entire atmosphere that only a real casino can bring, and at a minimal cost.

These companies will sell you a Drag Racing Skill Slot Machine, where you can experience the thrills and spills of your favorite sport and hobby at the same time.

Statistics show that people are spending less time in real casinos than even ten years ago. Online gaming appeals to more people because it’s convenience and spontaneity. Players can play for fun online for hors on end, yet for the average person who enjoys gambling it will never replace the excitement of a real land casino, filled with real people enjoying a good time. People, who want the best of both worlds, and play for fun within a casino like atmosphere, are investing in their own home slot machine. And the Drag Racing Skill Slot Machine has become one of the most popular choices, by providing a race track theme, with the sounds of high pitched engines and the screech of brakes reverberating throughout the house.

If you didn’t know if before, these slot machines is a real bargain. You might ask,” How come they are so inexpensive?’ And the answer is that our company imports used machines purchased direct from Japanese Casinos. The law in Japan states that all slot machines have to be removed from their casinos after two years. It doesn’t matter how little or often they have been used and how popular they are, they have to and be replaced by a newer model. The machines that have been replaced cannot be used in other casinos in Japan, even the highly popular Drag Racing Skill Slot Machine, so the Japanese have no option but to write them down for export sale, which they do for a fraction of what they cost to build just two years previously. Companies that import them undertake to completely refurbish the slot machines before they put them up for sale. They work out to be a once in a lifetime bargain deal for the stay at home slot player, whilst building a real Casino atmosphere complete with all the flashing lights and specialist sound effects involved in drag racing.

The spins on a Drag Racing Skill Slot Machine can be controlled and the player decides which of the reels to put on hold making play even more exciting. People who have bought one of these machines report that one of the best attractions they can make is to hold a group competition, where players start with the same number of coins, and the player left with the most coins after a set number of spins is the winner. Every one gets to choose their own tactics and decide how many coins to invest in each spin and across a number of lines.

To make it even more exciting, after a while the players can get to choose an additional feature of the Drag Racing Skill Slot Machine. This is the ability to adjust the skill level to make playing the game even more fun.

We undertake to completely refurbish every machine that is sold, with

The slot machine arrives at your home ready to operate mode, coming complete with a two year all-inclusive warranty on all parts.

The Drag Racing Skill Slot Machine coming complete with it own switches off key, which should be kept in a safe place. The idea of having a switch on-off mechanism is to prevent access to the machine without approval. Certain necessary adjustments have been made to the machine’s operating system to prevent any attempt to alter the machine’s ability to accept any forms of legal coins. This is a very important feature that will prevent the illegal operation of your slot machine.

To further protect your interest, should you purchase a 110 volt ready Drag Racing Skill Slot Machine you will do so in the knowledge that each machine has gone through comprehensive electrical system diagnosis, to make sure that each of the machine’s functions will operate at maximum efficiency for your total enjoyment.

We are on standby 24/7 hotline to answer any questions or queries, on both technical and game issues. In addition each machine comes with a full service manual. All shipping details are handled by us and we are very confident that when the Drag Racing Skill Slot Machine arrives to your home, you will not fail to be impressed with her quality finish as well as her reliability and versatility.
